Preventative maintenance service – the INDEVA annual service plan
Scaglia INDEVA Ltd is pleased to offer an Annual Service Plan which has been designed to provide customers with a preventative maintenance service schedule that keeps their INDEVA equipment running at optimal capacity for its entire life.
We understand the importance of keeping unnecessary equipment downtime to a minimum and, to support this, we offer regular servicing by one of our fully qualified and experienced engineers at a time to suit your schedule. Servicing INDEVA equipment in line with the manufacturer’s recommended service and inspection schedule also assists compliance with health and safety requirements, including load testing and LOLER certification.
In addition to the planned preventative maintenance of production critical equipment, the Annual Service Plan also offers a number of additional benefits over customers who rely on ad hoc servicing or reactive maintenance visits if problems occur:
- Preferential labour rates for reactive service call outs and remedial works
- Preferential pricing for spare parts
- Free telephone technical support
- Priority call-out response*
- Minor Fault Fix – parts can be fitted from engineer’s van stock with 30 minutes labour included (cost of parts chargeable)
- Optional pre-agreed allowance for spares to be fitted during service, reducing need for return visits
- Scaglia INDEVA manage the scheduling of your equipment servicing, including LOLER certification
- Operator and maintenance refresher training can be undertaken during the service visit
- Service visits can be scheduled to suit the customer, including Out of Hours, weekends, or during shutdown periods

Scaglia INDEVA has a dedicated UK service department, based out of our UK headquarters in Derbyshire, and has a team of field based engineers covering all areas of the UK and Ireland.
As the manufacturer of the equipment, Scaglia INDEVA Ltd are the ONLY company in the UK able to service the equipment in line with the recommended schedule, including full access to the service and setting functions within software. Scaglia INDEVA Ltd are also the only company with access to all the Original Equipment spare parts.
How the Annual Service Plan Works
In consultation with Scaglia INDEVA experts, the optimum service schedule will be determined for your INDEVA equipment, taking into account the range of equipment on site, the tasks it is undertaking and the environmental conditions that may affect the operation of the equipment. Scaglia INDEVA will then provide a proposal for an Annual Service Plan that meets the individual needs of your site. Customers also have the option to commit to an extended Service Plan of two or three years, with the annual charges in years two and three fixed at the year one level (any additional equipment added to the schedule will be subject to an additional charge, calculated at the year one rate).
Any known non-urgent remedial works can also be built in to the proposal, such as periodic wire rope or vacuum cup replacement.
At the start of the Annual Service Plan, and in consultation with the customer, service visits will be scheduled for the duration of the Plan. Two months prior to the expiry of the Plan, Scaglia INDEVA will provide a Renewal Proposal
*For call outs received before 10.00am Monday – Friday, if requested, Scaglia INDEVA will aim to attend site during the next working day (subject to availability of engineers and receipt of relevant purchase order or email instruction from the customer).
