State-of-the-art safety devices for reducing risk when lifting foundry castings
When lifting foundry castings, a great deal of care needs to be taken to ensure that the load doesn’t drop, causing significant damage. With the use of an INDEVA®, this risk is significantly reduced due to the inclusion of state-of-the-art safety devices. These prevent movement of the load unless an operator is present and in control, as well as features that guard against the load falling, even in the case of power failure.
The INDEVA® is also equipped with auto-weight sensing and auto-balancing functions which automatically sense and balance the load in real time. This saves the operator from having to pre-set the load or to keep buttons pressed during operation. Together with the INDEVA’s® float control mode, the operator is able to place both hands on the load providing maximum control.
